FAQ

The things readers ask us, answered without jargon.

What kind of site is Notebiva?

Notebiva publishes free, plain-language clinical trial information. It is run by The Nelson M Group LLC.

What do I get when I sign up?

Plain-language information on the topic you choose, by email if you give one. If you opt in to texts, you also get short texts pointing to the same guides.

Can you tell me which study is right for me?

No. We do not recommend studies. A conversation with your own doctor is the right place for that, and our guides help you prepare questions.

How do I stop texts?

Reply STOP to any text. Reply HELP for help. You can also email [email protected].

Does Notebiva work as a medical provider, study team or recruiter?

No. Notebiva is an information website published by The Nelson M Group LLC. We do not treat patients or enroll volunteers, and the guides are not medical, legal or financial advice.

Will my details go to a drug company?

No. They never go to sponsors, manufacturers, research sites or recruiters. You can see exactly what we collect in the Privacy Policy.

Can I sign up without an email, phone or ZIP code?

No. Leave the email, mobile and ZIP boxes empty if you like. We ask only for your name, a topic and agreement to the privacy terms.

Can you decide my eligibility?

No.

Can I ask you to erase what I sent?

Every email has an unsubscribe link. To delete what we hold, write to [email protected].

Will you match me with a study or a research site?

No. We do not recommend, rank or match you with studies, sponsors or sites. Public registries list studies, and your doctor can help you read them.

Will you text me all the time?

Message frequency varies, up to about 8 a month. Msg & data rates may apply.

Can you review my test results?

No. We never see medical records and do not give medical advice. Your doctor can explain your results.

Do you sell products or open accounts?

No. We publish information only.

Are texts required?

Never automatically. The form has two separate unchecked boxes, and you can submit without ticking either one.
